In November 2023, the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland (JABS) will launch a recruitment round from which we will be seeking to make recommendations on the appointment of 5 Senators of the College of Justice.
In support of this JABS and the Judicial Office will hold a virtual information session on Thursday 5 October 2023 between 5:15pm – 7pm. The Lord President, Lord Carloway will chair the session which will provide an insight into the working life of a Senator demystifying what the role involves whilst representatives of the JABS Board will provide an insight on the application process.
Members of the panel will include The Lord President, the Lord Justice Clerk, The Hon. Lady Haldane, the Rt. Hon Lord Mulholland, Sheriff Pino Di Emidio and the JABS Chairing Member, Dr Lindsay Montgomery.
